MDR in Dental Technology – Innovations & Compliance

On Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September 2025, the Annual General Assembly (AGM) of the FEPPD will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In addition to the formal agenda items, the Saturday morning program includes presentations on topics highly relevant to the dental technology sector in Europe and beyond.

As FEPPD unites members from across Europe, not all national delegates can attend the AGM in person. For those representatives, an online stream of the AGM will be available.

Marcia Elena Podboršek

Marcia Elena Podboršek is a regulatory expert in medical devices with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. She holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and is widely recognised for her in-depth knowledge of EU medical device legislation, including the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR).

As a former national expert for the Slovenian competent authority (JAZMP), she contributed directly to the implementation of EU regulations and was an active member of the Medical Device Coordination Group (MDCG) and the CAMD (Competent Authorities for Medical Devices) working groups. Her expertise includes ISO 13485 audits, notified body designation processes, and the development of quality management systems (QMS) for both medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

Marcia is the founder of MedDev Rešitve, a consultancy firm offering strategic guidance on MDR/IVDR compliance, notified body interaction, and regulatory documentation. In collaboration with MedTech Slovenia, she also supports professional education in the sector through the MedTech Slovenia Academy.
